& Photogrammetry

During the Spring 2024 semester, the Center for Digital Humanities - School of Humanities at The University of Southern Mississippi (USM) added to their workshop series introducing the basics of digital humanities tools and methods. Dr. Patrick Hoehne (Assistant Professor of History & Digital Humanities) introduced 3D imagery and photogrammetry as digital humanities tools. “Photogrammetry” can be described as the process of using technology to combine photographs in the reconstruction of objects as 3D renderings, such as buildings, objects, and artifacts.
