Our Partnerships
To promote digital learning and access to information among K-12 & university students, as well as the general public, the CDH strives to form partnerships with a variety of Southern Miss centers and programs, in addition to regional and national institutions—including colleges & universities, government institutions, and more.

Partners at Other Colleges & Universities
The CDH works with faculty and students from across the state to strengthen our mutual interests in digital humanities for research and classroom purposes. We are dedicated to working with our university colleagues to help undergraduate and graduate students take advantage of several CDH-based projects, including paid research opportunities, such as the Civil War & Reconstruction Governors of Mississippi and Mapping Freedom: A National Science Foundation - Research Experience for Undergraduates (NSF-REU). Our partnerships in higher education include Jackson State University, Mississippi State University, Mississippi University for Women, and Tougaloo College.
Federal, State, & Private Funding
The CDH is also grateful for the support from federal, state, and private funding agencies that make much of our work possible. The Center’s projects have raised over $1 million to advance research, train our students for a competitive marketplace, and help the public engage with and learn from academic scholarship.
